The Ghanaian versatile sports physician and the Black Stars team doctor was handed the role of the FIFA Match Doctor at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2025.
Dr Pambo together with three other FIFA Match Doctors from Scotland and Portugal were responsible for emergency medical services during the tournament. As part of preparations for the tournament, Dr Pambo helped to train emergency medicine Doctors and paramedics in the "FIFA Medical Set Piece". This aim of the training was to equip all the medics and paramedics with basic life support (BLS) skills to appropriately ensure player safety during FIFA competitions.
Dr Pambo is one of very few doctors recognised as FIFA Match Doctors globally.
